SpinOut™ Columns
The SpinOUT™ GT-100, GT-600 and GT-1200 columns are versatile, spin-format columns for the desalting and buffer exchange of peptide, protein and nucleic acid solutions ranging from 5µl to 4ml sample volumes.
The SpinOUT™ columns are available in three MWCO sizes for >700, >6,000 or >30,000 Dalton peptides or proteins and are suitable for samples containing as little as 20µg protein/ml.
The SpinOUT™ columns are easy to use; simply apply the protein sample and centrifuge to recover proteins and nucleic acids with the column retaining more than 95% of the salts and small molecules (<100Da for SpinOUT™ GT-100, <1,000Da for SpinOUT™ GT-600 and <1,500Da for SpinOUT™ GT-1200).
The SpinOUT™ GT-100 is for the purification of peptides and proteins >700Da.
The SpinOUT™ GT-600 is for the purification of proteins >6kDa and nucleic acids larger than 10bp.
The SpinOUT™ GT-1200 is for the purification of proteins > 30kDa and removal of molecules > 1,500Da. The columns are ideal for separating proteins from peptides.
Five sizes are available for each MWCO and are highlighted below:

Important information Sample Load Volume The recommended load volumes (see table) are a guideline. The actual volumes used will be dependent on your sample, the concentration of salts and contaminants to be removed and the recovered purity desired. For optimal removal of contaminants, we recommend using a sample volume of <20% of the resin bed volume. NOTE:Loading more than the recommended load volume will result in a higher level of contaminating salts and other molecules. CAUTION Protein-Out™ is a volatile and corrosive product and should only be used as indicated below. Always wear gloves and safety glasses when using.
