Actin Binding Protein, Tropomyosin
Strengthening & regulating coiled-colis.
|
Tropomyosin from skeletal muscle consists of rod-shpaed
coiled-coil dimers (hetero-or homo dimers in head-to-tail
association). The Tropomyosin dimers bind laterally to the
actin filament - along the α-helical groove of the filaments.
