NBD-actin is chemically modified G-actin, used for the fluorimetric analysis of e.g. actin-monomer

interactions. The conjugate is prepared by NEM-conjugation to G-actin, which is subsequently covalently

conjugated with NBD to Cys374 at the C-term of the molecule.
