Ultra small (0.8nm) immuno gold reagents Ultra small immuno gold reagents 는 1nm 이하의 초 미세 gold 나노 입자 (약 0.8 nm)를 사용하여 조제되었습니 다. Ultra small gold 입자는 흡착시키는 항체나 검출분자에 미치는 영향이 매우 작고, 비표지의 경우와 동등한 활성 을 유지합니다. 또한 Ultra small immuno gold reagents을 R-Gent SE-LM / R-Gent SE-EM silver enhancement reagents와 함께 사용하면 모든 응용 프로그램에서 최상의 결과를 얻을 수 있습니다. Gold 입자 크기를 작게 한 Ultra small immuno gold reagents는 큰 gold 입자로 표지 한 분자와 비교하면 근본적으 로 다른 성질을 가지고 있습니다. 기존의 immuno gold reagents은 '단백질로 코팅 된 gold 입자 '라고 생각 할 수 있지만, Ultra small immuno gold reagents의 경우는 1 개 이상의 gold 입자로 코팅한 단백질입니다. 따라서 gold 입자 표체의 전체 크기를 줄일 수 있으며, 입체 장해 (steric hindrance)가 감소됩니다. 다음 표는 다양한 크기의 gold 입자 [ 초소형 (0.8 nm), 6 nm, 10 nm] 표지체의 물리적 특성을 나타냅니다. The small gold particles also have a tight particle surface curvature which makes it less likely that a structured water dipole layer will build-up around the gold particles. Hence, the hydrodynamic radius of the ultra small gold colloids is reduced.
