Tartrate assay

Tartrate is a common additive in pharmaceutical products and food products. The Tartrate Assay Kit is for

measurement of sub-millimolar to low millimolar concentrations of tartrate.  The assay is based on increase

of the optical density at 490 nm (OD490) of the kit reagent upon binding to tartrate.  The assay is compatible

with Tris-HCl buffers. It is not compatible with phosphate buffers, polycarboxylic acids or other poly acids.

Tartrate Assay kit

includes 1.5 ml of Reagent A, 1.5 ml of 10 x Reagent B and 0.2 ml of 100 mM ammonium tartrate.

It is for 100 assays using 96-well plates.  Cuvettes may also be used for measurements.
