Macrophage의 제거에 유용한 Clodronate Liposome

 

Clodronic acid를 내포한 liposome으로서, 생체에 투여하면 splenic macrophage에 작용하여 macrophage를 제거할 수

있습니다. Liposome을 구성하는 lipid electric charge가 다른 Clophosome(Neutral) 또는 Clophosome A(Anionic)의

두 가지 제품이 있습니다.

 
 
특 징 ;
  • 생체 내의 macrophage를 고효율로 제거할 수 있습니다.
  • Clodronic acid가 phosphatidylcholine과 cholesterol로 구성된 multilayer liposome에 내포되어 있어 활동, 물리적, 화학적 안정성이 우수합니다.
  • 매우 높은 clodronic acid/지질 비율을 가집니다.
  • 유리 clodronic acid은 제거되고, liposome에의 clodronic acid의 enclosure rate는 90% 이상입니다.
  • 정맥 주사, 복강내 투여, 피하 투여, 비강내 투여, 기관내 투여 등 다양한 방법으로 생체 내에 주입할 수 있습니다.
  • 4 종류의 liposome을 포함한 세트(# F70101C-NA) 외에 control liposome을 포함한 세트도 있습니다.
 
Clophosome
  • 중성 liposome에 clodronic acid가 내포되어 있습니다.
  • 생체에 정맥 주사로 1회 투여하는 것 만으로도, splenic macrophage를 약 80 ~ 90% 제거할 수 있습니다.
  • 점성이 없고 취급이 용이합니다.
 
Clophosome-A
  • Anionic lipids 로 구성된 liposome에 clodronic acid가 내포되어 있습니다.
  • 생체에 정맥 주사로 1 회 투여하는 것만으로, splenic macrophage를 약 90 ~ 95 % 제거할 수 있습니다.
  • 점성이 없고, 미세 바늘로도 쉽게 주사할 수 있습니다.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR USING CLOPHOSOMES

CLEAN with alcohol and DO NOT reuse the needles

 
 
   

Animals become sensitive to infection when macrophages are depleted and their immune system is compromised. Animal

sickness and even death may result if they are handled improperly. It is extremely important to conduct the injection in a

clean environment. Withdraw the liposomes through the rubber stopper (clean with alcohol first) with a new sterile

needle. Always clean the injection site with alcohol and use a new and sterile needle for each injection. Keep the animal

cages clean.  Open the vials in a biological safety cabinet (BSC hood) and DO NOT contaminate the Clophosomes.

 

A good practice is to include a few extra animals in the study, as occasional animal death is common for these types of

work. Test with a small group of animals first if you are a new user or using a new administration regimen. Treated properly

these animals (mice) could survive for over a month even with twice-a-week injection of our clodronate liposomes.
